Trying to find a way to give back to a community? Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a great way to do so. Founded in 1987 by Richard Proudfit, who recently passed away. Richard began this non-profit organization by following the same legacy that Jesus followed while on earth, to love your neighbor as yourself.
For two hours volunteers pack "Manna packs" for villages around the world that are not fortunate enough to have three meals a day or any meals for that matter. These meals have been formulated to provide all the nutritional requirements for malnourished children. FMSC fed a total of 333 million children in 2017.
The packs cost less than 25 cents to produce! That being said, FMSC is 100% donor funded. More than 90% of donations go directly to feeding kids. Arizona Young Adults are committed to raise the funds for all the food we estimate we will be packing. If you are unable to attend this volunteer opportunity you can still participate by donating. Anything will help feed these children.
Of the one million volunteers at FMSC, more than half are 18 years of age or younger. There is not age limit to who can help! If you'd like to join us for this volunteer opportunity please follow the instructions below on how to register.
